EXPLORE CAVES, GULLIES AND SHIPWRECKS ALONG THE UK’S MOST BEAUTIFUL COASTLINE. We offer half day sit on top kayak tours around Falmouth’s wonderful scenery. Our Sit on Top kayaks are very stable and easy to paddle so no previous experience is required. Our tours regularly encounter a range of coastal wildlife such as Seal and coastal bird including Oster Catchers and Cormorants. Occasionally dolphins and porpoises can be spotted to.

From the water is the best way to explore The Helford River. Our Sit on Top kayak tours allow you to enjoy the serene, un-spoilt estuary that stretches from Falmouth Bay up to the old port of Gweek. Our tours take you from Durgen via Polwigwidden Cove, Helford passage and if the tide is right, along the famous Frenchman’s Creek. The Helford has beautiful wildlife including ancient oak woodland that lines it’s banks. Kingfishers fly and perch on the overhanging branches. Dolphins, seals and oysters can be seen too if you have a keen eye.
Helford Kayak Tours

Frenchman’s Creek is a beautiful inlet, hidden along the Helford river. It famously inspired the love and piracy story written by Daphne du Marier called ‘Frenchman’s Creek’. The serene inlet is only accessible at high tide so few people get to visit.
Gylly Adventures have planned evening tours of Frenchman’s Creek, leaving from the village of Durgan. The Helford has beautiful wildlife and regularly encounter kingfishers, dolphins and seals. The ‘Frenchman’s Creek’ tours run only in the evening, and are a perfect way to de-stress after work or on your holidays. With only limited spaces and tide windows don’t miss out on this Cornish gem!
